TOMMY'S THE BABY CHARITY - RESEARCH REMIT

WE FUND RESEARCH THAT FOCUSES ON THE FOLLOWING AREAS:

• The causes and prevention/ treatment of miscarriage, preterm delivery and stillbirth
• Placental dysfunction and other causes of growth retardation
• Fetal distress in labour

PRIORITY WILL BE GIVEN TO PROJECTS WHICH CLEARLY DEMONSTRATE THE DEVELOPMENT OF:

A hypothesis for testing in a clinical trial
A treatment
A preventative measure
An understanding of a disease process or part of a disease

Tommy's wants to fund scientific research projects which have a clear clinical implication and a significant potential impact on our cause.
