Applying for a grant - Step 2

GENERAL GUIDELINES:

Step1: Purchase & Download the Adobe Acrobat software.

Adobe Acrobat is required to fill in, save, print, make any modifications and subsequently submit to Tommy's.

· Be aware that you only need the standard version (currently V.6) - Ł245 + vat
· Be sure to download the pc or Mac version depending on your hardware platform

We have chosen this method as PDF files can be created on PC's and MACs and the resulting forms can be viewed on any platform. This gives a fair platform for any application to be received.

It is not mandatory for you to purchase this version of Adobe Acrobat, however if you only use the freely available version you will not be able to SAVE the contents of your application. You will be able to print your finished form but given that these documents may take many hours to complete, your printed copies will be your only copies and once the program is closed, all data will be lost.

Step2: Install the package

Install the package onto your computer and select the appropriate grant form.

Step3: Filling in the form

The electronic PDF file will open and present you with a fully interactive electronic version of our existing paper application form. Please follow the guidelines to complete this form. You may stop and save at any point then re-open and continue until the form is complete.

Step4: Submitting the form

When the form is complete, please save, close and email it to grants@tommys.org remembering the deadline for the 16 paper copies which are also required. Your application cannot be considered on an electronic version alone.
