National Pregnancy Week

Romper Stomp

Romper Stomp Join hundreds of Tommy's supporters, bring your family and friends, and get sponsored to stroll through 5 kilometres of beautiful parkland.

To help us kick off Tommy's 10th National Pregnancy Week, we're launching a new event – Romper Stomp is a 5 kilometre walk through Richmond Park, London, on Sunday 4th September 2005. Get your family and friends together to enjoy a fun time out and at the same time, raise funds for Tommy's vital research into miscarriage, premature birth and stillbirth. And the walk will be led by a surprise celebrity guest! For full details and to register click here or call Diana on 020 7398 3431.

Can't make it to Richmond? Why not join a Romper Stomp near you? Click here for details of Romper Stomps being held across the country.

Or how about organising your own sponsored walk? Just gather family and friends to saunter around a local park or along an interesting route. Take a picnic, or stop for a pub lunch! Tommy's can provide you with sponsor forms, balloons and stickers. For a step-by-step guide click here for more about how to organise your own, and a materials order form, or call or email Diana on 020 7398 3431 or dstenning@tommys.org.

Campaigning for pregnancy health
Tommy's 10th National Pregnancy Week is big news! We're working harder than ever to raise awareness about health in pregnancy via a targeted media campaign. This year, we're working with media partner, Mother & Baby to help us in this goal. Mother & Baby magazine is the UK's best-selling parenting magazine, and they also issue Pregnancy & birth magazine, Mother & Baby Magazine dedicated to pregnant women and offering health information, pregnancy fashion, true-life stories and more. Both magazines will feature information and stories from Tommy's, helping us to raise awareness about the importance of good pregnancy health.
